     Family day open house at SW 60th Avenue
    
Open house for the families of our clients. Meet the teachers
     and enjoy refreshments. Free.


February 22 (11:30-1:00PM)
     Hiers-Baxley Community Outreach Charity Picnic
    
Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE Third Street, Ocala
     (2 blocks behind the Cascades Office Complex)
     Smothered chicken, red smashed potatoes, caesar salad,
     garlic rolls, brownie, iced tea/bottled water.
  Dine at the park or carry out. 100% of proceeds
     benefit Jobs Program.


May 10 (11:30-1PM)
     Victorian Ladies Tea Party 
    
Ocala Hotel Grand Ballroom. Wear your long skirt and we'll 
     supply the tea cups, fancy hats, and an elegant buffet.

September 2013
     Open House and Macular Degeneration Conference

     Learn about Macular Degeneration, tour the classrooms,
     and meet the teachers. See low vision product displays.
     Refreshments will be served. Free.

October 12th 
     White Cane Awareness Event and Walk-a-Thon
    
Tuscawilla Park
     All day fun kicks off with a walk-a-thon, blindfold obstacle
     course, games that test your senses, low vision softball and
     fishing classes, plus great food. Bring your family to help
     raise awareness for blind and low vision persons living in
     Marion County.
